P-TIOX Serum Review

Product Review Featuring: Sonia Gill, Finance Professional & Mother of Two 

Since I first heard about this product through Wave Skin Care, I was looking forward to trying the new SkinCeuticals P-TIOX serum. I’m a perfect candidate for the product as I am always looking for ways to restore the moisture, glow and smoothness back to my face during the cold, dry winter season in BC.

So, what is P-TIOX? SkinCeuticals P-TIOX is an anti-wrinkle peptide serum that is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and enhance the skin’s overall texture and radiance. Some have called it “Botox in a bottle!” Celebrities like Hailey Bieber recently shared her skincare routine’s on TikTok, revealing that she uses SkinCeuticals P-TIOX serum to achieve her signature glass-like skin. I was intrigued! Who doesn’t love a glass skin appearance?

The formula of P-TIOX features an advanced peptide complex, polyhydroxy acid for mild exfoliation, niacinamide to brighten and even out skin tone, and laminaria extract for deep hydration. These additional active ingredients help smooth the skin and enhance your natural radiance with immediate use, compared to the 12 weeks required with other topical creams and serums on the market. Notably, since the serum can and should be applied all over the face, it can target expression lines in areas where most injectables can’t, such as around the mouth and under the eyes.

My curiosity about the product led me back to Wave and I picked up the product before the holidays. Since then, I have incorporated P-TIOX serum into my daily skincare routine, applying a few drops in the mornings and sometimes in conjunction with SkinCeutical’s legendary Vitamin C Ferulic serum in the evenings. It’s an amazing combination. The P-TIOX serum’s clear, lightweight formula is unscented and quickly absorbs deep into your skin. I feel like my skin really needs it. I can see a noticeable difference the next morning as my makeup just seems to apply smoother and my face feels softer, brighter and more radiant.

After only two weeks of using P-TIOX regularly, I was pleasantly surprised at the difference it made to my complexion and overall skin health. The smoothing, pore-tightening, and brightening effect has given me more of that “filtered” quality which I really love. People are noticing and have asked me what I use for skin care. Based on the initial improvements I am seeing, I am committed to continuing with P-TIOX as part of my skin care regime.

The early results, which make me look more fresh-faced and well-rested, have already sold me on its true benefits. With my hectic schedule, I prefer a simple and low maintenance approach to skincare, so P-TIOX is an excellent complement to my overall self-care and skin care goals.
